Have you noticed that when the issue of leadership is raised or when we generally think of leadership, usually we think first of someone else? If we ever hope to be effective leaders of others, we must first be effective leaders of ourselves. Leading others will be much fun if we master the act of leading ourselves. Consider what a Clinical Psychologist said about Self-Leadership, He said, “There is a person with whom you spend more time than any other, a person who has more influence over you and more ability to interfere with or support your growth than anyone else. This ever-present companion is your own self.”

About Tade Ayodele
Tade Ayodele presides over MAKING NIGERIA A BETTER PLACE (MANABEP) an NGO based in Nigeria. Before founding MANABEP in 2004, he had been member of the youth arm of International Association of Lions Clubs where he served as president of his branch in 2005. He had been a Region Director of the Lions Clubs International and now serves as Vice President on the district board of the same International Organization.
